Access Alaska is a private, non-profit, consumer-controlled organization that provides independent living services to people who experience a disability. Amputee Blade Runners
Amputee Blade Runners was founded by two prosthetists, with the idea that giving someone one piece of equipment could change their life. That’s exactly what happened to our co-founder, Ryan Fann, when a local prosthetic company gave Ryan his first running leg after high school. Ryan excelled in sports throughout middle school and high school, but when he was fitted for his first running leg, the world opened up. He went on to run track at Tennessee State University and even earned a GOLD Medal in the Paralympics.

Camp No Limits

Disabled American Veterans Charitable Services Trust

Lower Extremity Amputee Providing Support (LEAPS)

National Commission on Orthotic & Prosthetic Education
The National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) is the accreditation body for the orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) profession. As such, its primary mission and obligation is to ensure educational and residency programs meet the minimum standards of quality to prepare individuals to enter the O&P profession.

Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund
The Orthotic & Prosthetic Activities Foundation (OPAF) is a nonprofit organization, a 501(c) (3) public charity, established and incorporated in January 1995 by the former Orthotics and Prosthetics National Office. The Orthotics and Prosthetics National Office is now three separate organizations including The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA), The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP) and The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC). Each of these organizations still supports OPAF through both financial and in-kind support. OPAF was initially dedicated to providing financial and in-kind support to the 1996 Paralympics, OPAF now generates its own initiatives through partnerships with individuals, organizations, and institutions engaged in:
- improving the quality of life for O & P patients through health and fitness programs, and
- raising public awareness of physical disability.
